Other than using the subscribe form, you can use subscribe to Notifyr via using the Notifyr URL: http://notifyr.com/add?url=<Your Flickr Page URL>&email=<recipient's email>This URL can be used fully or partially. For example, to have your non-web-savvy friend get your notified of your new photos by sending a link like this: http://notifyr.com/add?url=http://flickr.com/photos/My_Photo_Page/&email=myfriend@naiveusers.comOr, you can send a group mail to your friends, containing just the URL of your Flickr page, without email: http://notifyr.com/add?url=http://flickr.com/photos/My_Trip_To_IndiaEach person that recieves and clicks the link will be asked by Notifyr to enter their email address - no need for you to create & send special links for each recipient. If you plan to use Notifyr a lot, you may find the Notifyr Bookmarklet helpful. To use it, drag this link -> Notifyr to your bookmarks toolbar. Then, whenever you visit a Flickr page you want to subscribe to, click it - the page will be added to you Notifyr watched pages. |
